WOW! It's February already and Valentine's Day is just around the corner.
I want to focus today on Unity's fabulous sentiment kits and the January kit in particular. I just love that this was available in early December so I had plenty of time to whip up some super simple Valentine's cards.
You can see the No Remedy for Love kit I used HERE, and all of the sentiment kits HERE. There is a new one released every month when the new Unity {be inspired} Challenge begins. AND that reminds me, you have 2 days left to enter this month's challenge. We'd love for you to play along.
Here are my super simple cards.
Just a couple of blocks of patterned paper, some glitter tape, and the sentiment stamped on a store-bought tag. The heart stamp is from last year's Handmade Valentines kit. I made all three of these cards in under 30 minutes. So whether you're adding to your stash or you need a card at the last minute, these sentiment kits are definitely the way to go.
Now on to the fun stuff. We always take time on Tuesday's to spotlight some of our favorite Unity projects from the previous week. As always, there were plenty of gorgeous creations to choose from. Since my post is all about sentiments, I've chosen 2 cards where the sentiment is the focus.
First, from Tanya Adams
Second, by Mary Anne Keleman
and finally, my quote for today...
Very pretty, you have inspired me to finish my valentines
ReplyDeleteWhere can I find the sentiment used on Tanya Adams card? I LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteI did not even know there were monthly sentiment kits since I did not see that listed across the top of the website. Pretty soon I guess I will be getting all of them. I love all of these submissions but the second is my absolute favorite.
