Inspiration Wednesday with Camille

We’re still pleasantly full from Thanksgiving and leftovers in our house. I’m looking forward to creating with all the goodies Unity has released in November. WOW-wee what a haul of goodness. Seriously! I’m hoping you all got to do some Unity shopping from Brown Thursday through Cyber Monday. That’s the basis of my post today. USING those stamps!

I put together this seasonal-inspired chipboard tag using one of the NEW sets released this past Monday.

Isn’t she adorable? I LOVE her so much! I thought putting her right smack in the middle of a die cut mason jar with a snowy scene would set her off perfectly. Of course, she would make anything you put her on cute.

I used the following set, Hello Winter, created by Susan K. Weckesser. This is a great kit to use this wintery/holiday season.

Which sets did you purchase during the sales? Which sets are you going to create with FIRST? Which sets do you think you’re going to use most? Do TELL and SHARE! I can’t wait to see what you all do with the Unity goodies from your shopping hauls.

Growing in Unity

Welcome to Growing in Unity!  This week Tami is up sharing her wonderful creations.

Meet Tami:

Here is a little something about Tami:
"I am Tami.  I live in Oklahoma and have been a unity fan for just about a year now.  I have been stamping for just about 18 years.  I started stamping when my 18 year old was a baby.  I found it to be me time and I really loved it when I created a card that was just perfect.  I have real life pen pals yes by mail and most of my cards go to them.  I always make my own Christmas cards.  One is never alike.  I almost never duplicate a design I like making lots of different ones.

In September of this year our house burnt.  I was thankful to be able to save most of my stamping supplies.  We were in a hotel for a month after the fire and my little bags of rubber stamps traveled with me in the car.  I was so happy to get into our temporary home and be able to stamp again and create.  We will be going back to our real home in February.  YEAH

Thanks for looking at my unity creations this week and I hope that they inspire you."

DT Tuesday with Mandi

Good Morning Friends!

Welcome to another DT Tuesday with Mandi

It's been really cold and frosty here in Scotland these last few days.

Which just makes me want drink lots of hot tea and cozy up by the fire.

This is where I got my idea for today's post.

I coloured some tags with winter themed Angie girls all bundled up holding hot drinks.

I used my peerless watercolors kept the colours quite festive.

The first girl is called Dream Of Being  the sentiment is from Rebuild Herself.

The second girl is one of my all time favourites called Hello Love.

Finally the third girl is from the Beauty Comes from Being Yourself KOM

I really love the look of them all together.

I could easily have kept going as there are so many lovely winter themed girls.

 Pick of the Week

Now on to some of my favourite cards I have seen on the Unity Show & Tell page.

I love this Christmas tree by Stephanie Seelye. The ornaments look so real!

Last but not least I saw this lovely card by Angie Baehre VerDuin.

I love the way she coloured these wee owls

These are all amazing cards. I love seeing the way everyone uses Unity stamps.

I hope you got some inspiration from these wonderful people.

Stamp of the Week ~ #MYHEART

Hello.  Gaylynn here.  Today, I get to reveal the brand new Unity stamp of the week.
It is #MYHEART and it is perfect for the coloring craze these days and for upcoming love occasions.

Sentiment:  #MYHEART

I really like that the sentiment is a hashtag.
I stacked two of these beautiful hearts to give the gift tag a pitter patter kind of dimension.

With this project, I got to use my fine liner colored pens.  You can really get into tiny spaces and details with them.

I made a quick tip video with this.
My YouTube is GaylynnNeatThingsBTQ it will be on the Unity YouTube as well.

Inspiration Wednesday with Angeline

Happy Wednesday!
Angeline here to share with you a quick bookmark I made using the beautiful KOM 09/16 "Moments between Moments" kit.

The stamp speaks so much by itself that I didn't need to over-decorate it to make it look pretty, because it already is! I colored it with my Zig clean color real brush marker pens like watercolors, then stamped the beautiful calligraphy sentiment. Finally I layered a few patterned paper together -- and wa-la, I am done!

Here is the kit I used:

Here is the photo inspiration for my bookmark today:

Here is a little something about Heather:

"My name is Heather and I live in Alberta, Canada with my husband, daughter and son. We also have two (tortured with love) cats. By day I work in Human Resources and at night I hit the craft desk to flex my creative brain. My primary love is card-making, but I occasionally like to spread my crafty wings and dabble in other projects. Design Team Tuesday 11-22-2016

Welcome to Design Team Tuesday.  WOW!  As I was typing the date in my header I just had to shake my head at how fast this year has gone.  I can't believe that it's almost December!

It's almost Thanksgiving here in the States and it's one of my favorite holidays.  I do my best to let people know all through the year how much they mean to me and to tell them how blessed I am to have them in my life and that is the root of my inspiration for you today.  I have a couple of simple little Thanksgiving cards to share with you.

First up is a card featuring 2 die cuts - one (very, very old) pumpkin die and a newer background die.  I die cut the pumpkin from watercolor paper and colored it with distress markers.  I blended a bit of ink around the edges of the panel and mounted it to a card base.  The sentiment is from an older kit (Simple Blessings).

Next, I used an image from the Simple Blessings Kit.  I colored the image with distress markers before stamping it onto my watercolor panel.  Again, I blended ink around the edges of the panel.  The sentiment is from the October sentiment kit - Bountiful Owl.  I finished it with a few fall sequins.

So in keeping with our usual Tuesday theme, it's time to turn our attention to YOU, our fabulous customers.  We're so grateful for your talents and always making Unity stamps SHINE!

Here are just a few of some of your cards that were posted in the Unity Show & Tell Group recently.

From Rosy Newlun

From Echo Noble

From Crystal O. Minkler

I wish I could post each and every card I find that showcases Unity.  You all are so talented.

I'll leave with a quote so suitable for Thanksgiving.  Wishing everyone a blessed week.

KOTM Monday

Hello Unity friends! Shemaine here today hosting this week's KOTM Monday. Whew! Can you believe that Thanksgiving is only days away! I am such a procrastinator that I haven't even done my shopping yet. Don't worry, the turkey is taken care of, it's just the fixings and pie ingredients,
I'll brave the store later today.

This month's KOTM

is loaded with beautiful images and sentiments.

Here are a couple of cards I made using this month's kit.

I love this colorable image that I was able to use to create my own background. The color combinations are endless!

I am a sucker for whimsical stars and this image makes my heart happy!

If you'd like to find out how you can get your very own KOTM each month delivered right to your mailbox you better hurry!

Click HERE to learn more about Unity's KOTM program which is still just $26 per month.

After the new year, the new cost per month is going to go up to $42.

Have a great day!

SMAK Saturday - Inspired with Imperfections

Good morning! Heather here to share a card I made with the current SMAK kit - Forget the Past:

Here is the November SMAK Kit  - some signature beautiful butterflies in this one! So pretty! (((You can read all about the SMAK kit membership HERE - between this, and the other monthly kit options - Unity has you covered!)))

I kept this card fairly simple - the feather is stamped directly on my pattern paper, then I have my sentiment overlaid on vellum. Some scrunched lace at the top - and all three of those layers attached with machine stitching, a button with some twine tied through, and a few white paint splatters finish it all off.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!
