Inspiration Wednesday

Hi everyone!

Shilo here today with Inspiration Wednesday!!

I don't know how many of you know about our Unity {show & tell} page on Facebook....but today that is where I am drawing my inspiration from....

Specifically from the recent color challenge....
YOU guys ROCKED this challenge....every day there was a new creation posted and I was in love!!

Here are the top 4 finalists from this challenge, just for a wee bit of eye candy.
But definately head over to the FaceBook page and ask to join and check out all the other amazing projects....so fun to see what everyone is creating all the time.

So here is my take on the beautiful stamp image:

So if you have to have this stamp...it came in the June 2013 KOM

Hope you are all having the best summer.....enjoying sunshine, family, friends, love and laughter....
and of course, finding lots of creative inspiration.

A little funny to make you smile:
And I still do feel cool with my new markers....lol...love to color!

Growing in Unity Wednesday

Welcome to GIU day!  This week Heather is up sharing her awesome Unity creations!

Meet Heather:

Here is a little something about Heather:

"My name is Heather, and I blog over at Houses Built of Cards. Here is a little about me: I have been married for 13 years to the man of my dreams, and have two sweet daughters age 10 and nearly 9 that I homeschool. I absolutely LOVE making cards – and also enjoy scrapbooking memories of my family. I lived my entire life up until about a year ago in Northwestern Washington State, and now live in a very small town in Wyoming. While we are still adjusting -especially to the cold winters – it has been nothing short of an adventure for us all, with the normal ups and downs of missing our family and friends back home. If you aren’t familiar with my blog name, then let me explain a little! When I started card making, I quickly found that I was making WAY more cards than I could possibly use. Thanks in part to my daughters and something they both cared deeply for, I decided to direct all the proceeds from the sales of my cards to the building of houses for widows and their children in Burundi, Africa, through a ministry called Sister Connection. Building one house is amazingly just $600!!! I just earned enough for my 3rd house, and am already about halfway finished with a 4th one now. I’m so excited to be the Growing in Unity gal this week! LOVE my Unity stamps so very much. They definitely make it easy to be inspired to be creative!"

Check out this great project Heather made:

Be sure to swing on by Heather's blog each day this week for your chance to win 2 itty bitty's!  If you are not already a member of the GIU FB page come join us HERE!

Monday KOTM day!!!!

Hello Unity lovers!!!

It’s Monday!!! That means KOTM Monday!!
I like these days when I am the one who may post the blog news!
Today I have made another clock …YES YES I like that clock!!! Take a look at it: I made it specially for Maxime, a little girl who celebrated her 10th birthday. She was so happy with the clock: it gave me a great feeling, to have been able to add to her happiness.

And, Yes this is made with the June KOTM and of course there is a July KOTM! In a few days time there will be a complete new one! I collect a whole bunch of these KITS and I’ve used them all. I collect them in my stamp folders When I need something I can choose easily and always know that there will be something that I can use. It’s a great concept !!!

So sign up for the JULY KOTM while you can.

Hope you like it!!
For information about the KOTM click here!!
Wish you all a great stamping week and till Thursday with the Blog hop.

Stamp of the Week #82- Apple of my Eye

Happy Sunday!

Great timing for this week's SOTW as there are children heading back to school shortly while others like mine have another month to go. When my girls were little they used to insist on bringing their teachers back to school gifts. They figured their teacher would also have a nervous belly about the new school year and a gift would help to make them feel better. Seriously how cute is that!

This stamp would make awesome back to school gifts or cards for teachers or the students in your life. And don't forget that your loved one might like a card sharing that they are the 'apple of your eye'. Lots of ideas!

Renee and Shemaine have already made some projects to help get your inspiration flowing- aren't they simply amazing!!

For our current SOTW customers keep an eye on your mailbox for this sweet stamp headed your way!

For those of you who don't receive the weekly dose of Unity stamps click here to read about how the program works and to sign up!

And as always we would LOVE to see what you have created with your SOTW so please don't forget to share it with us!

Have a fantastic day!

Welcome to Growing in Unity Wednesday!  This week the fabulous Kristy Lee is up sharing her Unity creations.

Meet Kristy Lee:

Here is a little something about Kristy Lee:

"Hi, my name is KristyLee, I live in sunny Florida. (Yes I do have alligators in my back yard.) I am a stay at home doggy mommy. I have three wonderful pampered dogs. Two Chihuahuas, one long hair and one short haired. I also have a German Sheppard. I have a degree in Medical coding and billing. I served in the US Navy, now a veteran. I have one child, a daughter that gave me the greatest gift in the world, a grand-daughter, born July 28th, 2011. My personality can be summed up as: funny, hot-tempered, quirky, opinionated, creative, loving, stubborn, and loyal. I walk to the beat of my own drummer! I started making cards when I was around 13. I have a passion for making greeting cards, scrap-booking, crafting, altered art, sewing, baking, and I dabble in polymer clay making too. I am on 2 DTs, Smudgy Antics, and Delicious Doodles Challenges. I am always on the lookout for new techniques to try. Thank you for your visit into my world and looking at art through my eyes. May God Bless you and yours."
