Design Team Tuesday with Andrea

Andrea here with this week's design team Tuesday!

I am making lots and lots of Halloween crafts lately as it is a big deal in my house
In fact my youngest decorated our main floor on Sept 15th for Halloween
Yep. Complete with hanging pennants, banners and spiders everywhere
That's what mommy gets when she goes out for a day
A spooky house for a month and a half
Ha!!

So to take a break from the spookiness surrounding me I want to share a project from my fave holiday
Christmas.
Oh how I love Christmas
One of the perks of being a crafter is that I now start prepping craft-wise for this holiday in the Fall
Not that I ever get around to actually sending out the cards I make...ha!
Fingers crossed this year will be different

This is an older card I made to send to family and friends
I used an Itty Bitty- Merry & Bright -to make this card
(I have a wee addiction to Itty Bitty stamps)
I was trying to make cards using non-traditional colours
I kept my design simple so that it is easy to make in multiples
for people who are kind and good and actually mail the cards they make ;)
hee hee

One of the reasons I love Christmas so much is summed up nicely in the following quote:

I wish we could put up some of the Christmas spirit in jars and open a jar of it every month.
-- Harlan Miller

 Exactly.

Onto the next part of DT Tuesday- the part I am so excited to do..
sharing some of YOUR projects that caught my eye.
Before I was on the team this was also one of my fave Unity posts.
Great way to see other awesome crafter's work who also love Unity

I just adore these projects from Brigit at Brigit Scraps! Great Halloween inspiration

And I can't resist all the pink and brown goodness on this creation from Mel over at The Paper Retreat!

Feeling inspired?
