New Month...New Guest Designer!

My name is Courtney Walsh and I am beyond excited to be the Unity Stamp Company Guest Designer for the month of June! I’ve long been a fan of Unity, and I am so inspired by everything the design team creates…how fun I get to share a little something I made this weekend too.
This is a mixed media canvas I created using acrylic paints, gel medium, stamps, ink and a few other things:

I love the way stamps, like the new Girl Land stamps from Webster’s Pages allow me to add texture and dimension so easily when I’m creating a project that’s a little bit messy like this one.

You can see I used the Fun Burst background stamp using black ink and also a light covering a white acrylic paint. I find if you stamp over things like rub-ons or letter stickers it pulls those elements deeper into the project, giving it more dimension.

I also used the Princess Kiss Background stamp to add just a little bit of red inked texture near the top.
And, of course, I used these letter stamps (my favorite) to add my quote. I love to mix and match stamped images, letter stickers and even my own handwriting when I’m adding quotes to my projects.

If you’re looking for an easy way to add some visual interest, there are plenty of options over in

the Unity store. Happy Stamping!
