2. BIG {IPPITY} NEWS
3. Friends with Flair Winners.

Whew, lots of great stuff!

Thank you to those who serve for our country!

Next up, I can't wait to share
one of my favorite projects for today's {ippity} review.

I love {ippity} and love the decorative tape that is so popular right now.
How cool would it be to combine them?

Totally awesome, right???

For this sweet little thank you, I made the strip of gingham decorative tape using the {ippity} Gurnsey Gingham background stamp.  It is so easy and I am excited to share with you how today.

This is what you will need:

paper tape {from any drugstore in the first aid section}
ink
stamps

So EASY right!!!
Decorative tape is a BIG trend right now and
this is a great way to customize your tape to your projects.

I have a quick video to "show" you how I created these tapes.
I have a few tips included as well.

I'm using the Dots for Sure background stamp for the tape on this card.
Hope you enjoyed today's tutorial and it inspires you to try it yourself!  I'd love to see your project if you do!

Happy Monday

Goodmorning Unity lovers, it's Happy Monday, my Unity day.
It looks as if there are only new born babies ....on the 14th of May Faas was born.
A little boy ...and his grandpa is a very good friend of mine.
That's the reason that I made this layout for today.
I'm going to give this to Willy and Chris, because they are grandparents now.

For this LO I used a whole new technique (for myself...maybe not for you....8).
Take an A4 sized white paper (250 grams) and stamp on it with
Versa Mark..in this case I used the stamps from Bella BLVD and from the store kit  Key to Joy.
.heat .emboss it with clear embossingpowder.
Also stamp a few images with StazOn Timber Brown.
Cut the A4 in various squares, rectangles and strips.
Let it all dry very well before you go on to sponging
with the distress colors tumbled glass and tattered straw.
The borders were done with vintage photo.

Put everything together in the A4 and bring it on the LO.
After all this has been done, spray with Perfect Pearls mists Heilroom Gold
(cover up the photo before spraying).

This is real homemade patterned paper!!!

For a friend of mine I made this tag....
it's a very simple technique, but the result is always beautiful.
Stamp the flower from Donna Downey in black ink.
Heat emboss with clear embossingpowder.
Put some distress colors on your crafsheet ..
spray with water and dab the tag in it. Be sure to take some little drops,
that gives such a nice effect.
Allow it to dry very well

Hope you liked my creations for today and thanks for visiting the Unity blog.
 Have a Happy Monday  Jolande!!

Store Kit Saturday!

Happy Saturday!!
Brooke here...
The SUN has finally decided to SHINE
here in Minnesota...
so I am off to the LAKE to spend
the day with my wonderful FAMILY...
I hope YOU are taking some time
to RELAX and ENJOY today!

I made a few super SIMPLE little cards
to share with you today.
I used two different Store Kits.

The first card is for Sofia's Preschool teacher
I did some paper piecing and sewed one little strip
of denim on to add some dimension.
SUPER EASY!
 school days...
card featuring stamps from
On the inside I attached a strip of kraft cardstock
with a couple little brads to hold a gift card in place.

The next project is a set of
Thank You cards.
once again.. very EASY..
just some stamping, then I punched out
the center of the flowers with a 1 inch circle,
sewed on a strip of denim
and tied the 5 cards together with another strip.

 thanks!

ENJOY YOUR SATURDAY!!!
