THIS is WHAT i amLOOKING at right thisvery MOMENT! {...that is the POOL at my parents condo in Naples - NICE, HUH?} 
It is a little cloudy right now, however I am not against slipping on my flip flops to go shopping for a bit -   the sun will decide to grace our presence i am sure of it!!!!}
I am here for 10 days with THIS beautiful woman, my mama.{one of the most amazing people i have ever met in my LIFE!} she spoils me, and we laugh, and we cry, and we FIX my crazy head, & my temporarily tattered little heart.there is nothing i can't tell this woman.i am SO GRATEFUL for this amazing woman.

the next 10 days will be filled with bare foot walks along the beach.

simpleness.

quiet.

THAT IS AFTER - I get my work done each day!

Growing In Unity Wednesday

Hello there, it's Maria L here with your Growing In Unity chickie for this week! This week the fabulous Angel Wilde is sharing all her wonderful Unity creations.

Here is a little something about Angel:

"My name is Angel Wilde and I am a wife, mom and new grandma! I've been stamping and getting inky for over 15 years! (That is a LOT of stamp supplies, believe me!) I feel blessed to be able to stay at home and stamp the day away if I want. My style is mostly a clean simple design, but sometimes I like to layer it up and use pretty embellishments to make a "work of heart". I first discovered Unity this January (while looking at stamping blogs) and immediately asked my husband if I could commit to $31 a month. He said okay and I was thrilled. I am completely enthralled by Unity Stamps. There hasn't been an image in any of the Kit of the Month kits that I have not liked. I LOVE the fact that there is a variety of adorable images AND practical as well as fun sentiments in each kit. The fact that they are quality red rubber, but don't come with a wood block that eats up my craft room space is an extra benefit that I especially like!

I've been using Unity stamps more than not this last month. I would love for you to visit my blog and see some of my projects! And while you're there leave a comment to win a stamp set that the gals at Unity so graciously allowed me to give away!"

I just had some delicious
strawberry pancakes from the Pocahontas Pancakes
at the beach and I do think it's made me hungrier, LOL!
strawberry pancakes are my very favorite breakfast!
I always have to ask for extra whipped cream though...they never give enough.


I got to have another favorite thing of mine on Friday night...
Outback cheese fries!
I honestly think they are one of the most delicious creations EVER!

...i am paying attention!

lesson - 2011 pay attention!life is like a river.it carries you.it takes you away.it flows.it flips you over.it floods and overwhelms.it recedes - and then it flows again.you really need to pay attention!!!!!you really need to be equipped.a good boat, some good oars - and perhaps a life jacket and a partner to help you out.
we have a river right by unity....and TODAY....FOR REAL...right outside my window....it was frozen AND flooded and flowing.how weird is that????IS THAT even possible?SURE IT IS!it is so representative of me right now.looking at it today was like God himself giving me a lecture. NOTHING is impossible.LOOK at all these things at work?yep, you guessed it ....I LOVE THAT.
Frozen = a little apprehensive with all the changes.Flooded = taking on SO MANY things all at onceFlowing = moving forward, taking hold and FEELING GREAT about the path of least resistance.JUST GOING WITH IT.Keeping on, Keepin' on and knowing without a DOUBT - You are RIGHT where you SHOULD BE!

Growing in Unity Wednesday

It's Wednesday and time to meet our Growing in Unity gal for this week - Emily Leiphart.


I’m delighted to be the Growing in Unity Gal this week! I had such a wonderful time as a Guest Designer for Unity in December and January that I just had to come back and share more cards inspired by Unity’s beautiful stamps! I love using Unity to create because the stamps are high-quality, the images are large enough to fill a card and I’m inspired just by looking at them. If I need to create a card in a flash, the first thing I reach for is my little package of printouts of all the Unity stamps I own. I flip through the images looking for ones that might complement each other and then choose a sentiment or several sentiments to combine. It’s pretty simple!

Ippity Design Team member Lisa Arana and I have also teamed up for Take Two this week. We are featuring one Unity or Ippity set each day all week long and we’d love for you to stop by both our blogs each day to see our different takes on the same stamp set! Not only will I be giving away the Growing in Unity prize at the end of the week, Angela Magnuson has generously donated one of each of the stamp sets Lisa and I are showcasing!! Lisa is also giving away two of her amazing watermarks which I absolutely love and use myself. For Take Two today, Lisa and I are featuring Birdie Duet and here’s one of my cards using this set. The main image and one of the two sentiments offered in this set are the focus of this card. In the background, I stamped the clouds background from Take Time To Laugh and further back behind the espresso layer, I used the butterflies from Picture Perfect on both the yellow (sun) and green (grass) strips.
