Hi everyone..Angie Blom here to welcome you to another Unity Mixed Media Sunday project..Honestly I was not sure what I was going to do for today.. and I just finished this piece..Had a fun trip to Michael's this morning with my Scrappy Buddy Tina.. and got some great ideason the way there.. so here it is.. oh.. and it is Halloween!! I just can't stop making things for Halloween. Boo!! Trick or Treat!!
Using this wonderful set from Ippity by Unity..
you can order your ippity from any of the many
It is a wall hanger for my door this Halloween season.. love it!!
You will need.
a wooden frame..
this one is from Michael's about $2.oo.
. some party streamer paper in black,
some yummy Tim Holtz Halloween Paper,
Martha Stewart cobweb border punch and bat punch
and the ribbon is Teresa Collins.
mod podge and black soot distress inks and archival black ink.
Scor pal tape** love this stuff!!
and this set of Ippity Stamps
cut out your papers around your frame.. to fit. brush on mod podge to the front of the frame , place the paper on top and mod podge over. let dry. using your stamps stamp on the front of the paper and add your cobweb border! now flip the frame over.. on the back outside edge you are going to use your scor- tape and ruffle the streamer paper around the frame.. you can also attach your ribbon to the top by using staples to hold it in place.
Now for the inside.. it is just a cardboard piece , so cover the cardboard with more paper, ink up your stamps and add the spider, paper piece and distress the trick or treat stamped image.. adhere that to your inside paper. punch out the bats and add those as well . using some of the left over paper I added the cat image and paper pieced the hat from the stamp collection on to the cats head. adhere that to the side of the frame. and you have a wonderful creation to put in a window or your door.
Hope you give this a try.. it was easy and a fun way to incorporate your stamps.
and don't forget all those Itty Bitty's
( except the wholesale) are on sale for $4.00. ends today.
So hurry up and stock up!!
Have a great Sunday
