What a wonderful Monday, me as a guest designer for this blog in America ...... what a great honor. Unity, Angela .... thanks .. After winning the co brand challenge I quickly went to work for anything and everything to make beautiful projects so I can post them on the blog ... but I am very aware that I never could won without your votes thanks for that.... and what to think from the picture of Maud because that is really a picture ... thank you Amber that I could borrow your child's photo for my winning project.
Let me tell you something about myself. I'm almost 52 years (as April 6 is the day ... 8)
and I am almost 35 years professional soldier in the army ... so yes this lady has already been sending to Bosnia, Afghanistan and Angola ...
I am also a mother of a daughter who is now 29 years and living together with Bjorn.
Bjorn has a daughter,Samantha, she calls me grandma, that's wonderful..
In 2006 I started scrapbooking, had many photos taken in Afghanistan
so I had something to do
but soon there came stamping in and that was really an addiction ... a wonderful addiction.
Now I often try a combination to make a layout with stamps.
This example is with a photo from Afghanistan .... here I made an extra challenge for myself by using only one color distress ink "old paper" .... the great thing about challenges is that the outcome is often surprising. Try it for yourself!
And this is Samantha, my beautiful granddaughter. This lay out was my first entry for the co-brand challenge.
It's stamped with studio multi-medium matte, colored with vintage photo ink and a lot of clear embossing powder. I finish with tattered angels glimmer mist.
Stamps are for both lay-outs from Donna Downey!!
Have a verry nice day Jolande .....from far far away the Nederlands
