I would love to win admission to the class because I'm new to scrapbooking also I was just given my Dad's slide collection of our family. I would love to preserve them for my family in my Dad's memory!
This class sounds so inspiring! It has just occurred to me that I have become more of a "collector" of scrapbooking supplies than a scrapbooker. I have even purchased a kit to do old photos and have yet to open it. Having lost two younger siblings, I would love to start documenting our family life and put all those old family pictures, that are now sitting in a box, where they belong...in a scrapbook for all to enjoy.

My sister is working on our family tree and just this past year we discovered that we're Irish!! That definitely explains the red hair and freckles that run throughout our family! What I wouldn't give to have just "one more day" with my grandma Ellie who came over to America from Denmark after her parents died ... and she was only 12 years old. I can't EVEN imagine what she must have felt and the experiences of coming to America and landing at Ellis Island (we have a pic of the boat she came on and a photo of where she signed her name).
Oh Me Me.. this is just right up my Ali... hehe.. You know how much I just love Ali Edwards.. I would love to take this class.

Hi Unity- I would love to take a classlike this. My parents were Holocaust survivors and I have some treasured and rare family photos that deserve to be honored. I am sure this class will inspire me to create a special way to do them justice. I also believe that my tiny family is so special that i would like to continue journaling and saving our current photos. I know Ali is very skilled and she can show me some great new ideas.

I would so love to win this class. Been working with my sisters and several cousins to try and get together more information, pictures and memorabellia to make a Family Album for my Oldest Aunt> When My Grandmother past away, she took over as " our Grandmother", we are over 13 grandchildren. she has done an amazing job, and recently had to have surgery to remove both breast, due to Breast Cancer. When I was younger, I thought I would never forget anything. Now that I'm almost 50, I'm lucky to remember anything. I would love the opportunity to capture the little and big memories of my crazy life spent traveling with the military, being a mom, owning two businesses, and just loving family and friends and nature. Some "direction" with a class like this would be the perfect prompt for me to stop procrastinating and get my memories documented before the memories all fade away.

I love taking classes from Big Pictures, but with us trying ot get out of debt so that I can stay home and raise our children I am unable to take most of the ones I really want to. This would be a perfect way for me to take this class. I am incerested in it because 3 of my 4 grandprants of died recently and an uncle is in very critial condition. I would love to preserve our family stories.

I think it would be great to pick me to win for the following reasons:
1-I am craft poor- hubby put me on a craft budget *weep*
2- I want to be able to give my daughters each a scrapbook when they move out. They are now 11 and 14 and in the past 12 years of scrapbooking I haven't made it past year 1 for my oldest.

I would LOVE the opportunity to take a class from Ali! I visit her blog just about every day...she is a big part of my scrapbooking/storytelling inspiration. And this yesterday/today class would be just perfect for me right now. This year, after having a death in our family, I am feeling more focused than ever to capture more than just pictures but the stories behind them for our family to be able to look back on and share for generations to come. For Christmas, I gave my parents a journal along with journal prompts and titled it Leaving a Legacy in the hopes that each week they will take time to write down family history, stories, and memories that we can pass down and treasure. Ali Edwards rocks! I love her approach to story telling and I would love to take this class to tell my story - the real me - not the mommy me - for my kids.
Before I had kids I loved to write poems and stories. Since having my twins I am ashamed to say that I have lost a part of myself. Scrapbooking gives me a creative outlet, but the storytelling/journaling continues to be a struggle for me. I find myself losing my mojo more often than not simply because I don't know what to say. I would love to win this class to ignite my inner journalista again.

I would love to learn and take this class for everything it has to offer! Last summer my husband passed away from Lung Cancer and I have 4 children, the youngest just turned 4.....I have soooo many things to document, some harder than others. Journaling is always the hardest part for me....the layouts not as much but the words or ideas of words.....ugh! If I don't win, I NEED to fit this class in my budget!!!! :)
