so i have to tell you that i am notorious for getting song lyrics wrong. and not just when i was a kid. my whole life. even now at 38. wrong. wrong. wrong.
my most infamous blunder was when i was belting out,
"if you like BEAN ENCHILADAS...and gettin'
caught in the rain...."
turns out it was PINA COLADAS, not bean enchiladas.
so last spring, i was with megan and some of her 12 year old soccer friends. i was all like, "i like that new song about the green beans on the lawn."
they were like "WHAAAAAAT?!?"
so then i'm all like, you know, the new one by miley sirus...party in the USA.
laughter.
turns out it was a JAY Z song was on...
NOT green beans on the lawn.

Way too funny ~ we must be sisters from another mister as I too always get the lyrics wrong and my dear friends don't let me forget it.
I do it all the time and I just make up lyrics most of the time....just keep it in tune and they will never know...lol hahaah

LOL! I'm glad I'm not the only one!! I am a worship leader--and I have def. made mistakes on stage. For example--words I sang "Oh Road"....correct words "Oh Lord"....there was a reason behind these words--I didn't have my music...and I leaned over but not in time to see the words:) LOL!! Great LO!!
haha.. thank for this today of all days I really need this!! i am the worst at knowing the right words to songs and do this all the time.. I blame it on my hearing..hehe I love this layout. and I love that song Party in the USA!!
