Fun Springtime Card
I challenged myself to create a card using the March Unity KOTM and Love Ewe and incorporate some of the stamps in a non-traditional way.

Here’s what I did:
Decided on your paper, I used Kraft paper, vintage music and some Basic Grey Porcelain paper and sticker strips
Here’s how the strips are assembled, from the top of the card down:
Use the topiary from KOTM on Kraft paper for top strip
Ink edges of Basic Grey Sticker Strip for pink scroll
Pleat vintage music and ink edges for next layer
Stamp the scrolls from the Love Ewe Mama sheep’s body on pink paper
Stamp the curly brackets on green BG Sticker Strip
Stamp the brown flowers (KOTM) on ledger paper
Stamp the dotted lines from the curly bracket (KOTM) and ink and distress bottom edge
Stamp the “May you Live” sentiment on Kraft paper and distress edges
Attach strips to card and ink all edges.
Create a little button {from music paper} by punched a circle, crop-a-diling two holes and distressing it!
Distress envelope to match and stamp with one of the same images
{Mama Ewe stamped on corners as swirls}
Call it done!

I’ve found that I LOVE to use the larger Unity Background Stamps not only for scrapbooking pages, but for the fun tags I love to make. Here the quick steps to make this fun tag:

1) Stamp plain manila tag with Worn Music background stamp using Versafine Vintage Sepia.
2) Position Tim Holtz Mask and spray Tattered Leather Glimmer Mist. Dab with paper towel.Optional: if you don’t have Glimmer Mist or masks, overstamp a larger image of your choice in a different color
3) Remove mask and spray entire tag with Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist (gives it just a little sparkle!)
4) Ink edges with ColorBox Chalk Ink, Chestnut Roan
5) You’re done!
