Kindness, like a boomerang, always returns...

I sent our "Little Princess" kit with a lovely gal that we met at CHA. Debbie has a store in the UK called Stampezee. She and her sweet friend requested to take some of our handles along with one kit back with them to the UK. I hesitated just a bit as we were still in the elementary stage of our handle creation . I knew that we needed till May for our engineers to PERFECT the manufacturing specifics of our handles. She just loved this Little Princess kit created by Kirsten McGrath for Unity Stamp - and I couldn't say "NO". It was a small gesture of kindness on my part that "boomeranged" right back to me. 1 day ago this adorable little book arrived in my mailbox. What a SPLENDID little book! I hope my pictures do it a small bit of justice. It is simply adorable! Thank you so much Debbie! I love it.
Did you know....God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today?
My wish for you is that it is 86,400 seconds of pure JOY!

Great Thought:
The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than success, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, gift, or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10 percent what happens to me and 90 percent how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes.

292 & Counting....Let's Double it!

Check out the blog candy below!
Answer the "Question of the Week" for a chance at winning Butterfly Beauty!
Where is your favorite store/website to get your scrapbooking/stamping supplies?
------------------------------------------
Love this thought by Marianne Williamson.....
Written in Green in honor of
St. Patty's Day!
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that frightens us. We ask ourselves 'who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

It's not just in some of us; its in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
LOVE that!
Find your Light..Be Brilliant, Talented & Fabulous!

Wandering Wednesday...

Quick little page of my boy James (son #3)
Paper - Necessities by Nic & Sassafras (Indian Summer) & Delightful Stamps - 5 Things I Love About You (Unity Stamp Company)

I have been wandering around the blogs as the comments come in...this blog world is so inspiring. There are so many stories, real life stories....the very best kind. From the elation of an upcoming wedding to the sorrow of a loved one lost - paths shared in writing, photos and creations from the very people that are upon them. It is inspirational and comforting. What a small world full of marvelous detail that we live in.

(Don't worry Sharon! I won't put "It's a Small World" as my song today! That may be pushing it!)

Check back tomorrow for the "Gift of the Week"
Debuting a BRAND NEW KIT!

If we hit 500 comments, I am going to double the gift! Tell your friends!

Gratitude Monday.

Gratitude.
Oprah told me to write down 5 things I am grateful for each day - no matter how small it quickly becomes meaningful.
1. A friend I haven't heard from in YEARS dropped me an email - for this I am grateful.
2. I woke up this morning to a house full of health - for this I am grateful.
3. I have a heater on my desk keeping me warm, as summer daze occupy my mind - for this I am grateful.
4. My website is near completion & it functions beautifully - for this I am grateful. (Thanks Cassie!)
5. I am starving & lunch is around the corner!! Could life get ANY better?
It turns what we have into enough, and more.
It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity.
It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.
Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.

A little home life...Sunday Morning Relaxation.

Yes, that is a teenie little kitty cat tattoo in the middle of my son's forehead....he insisted - the kid cracks me up. Add it to my list of "Firsts" below.

I love Sunday.
Our cozy Sunday morning consisted of Chris cooking the family favorite egg bake, while I enjoyed the moment with James and Sawyer. Our hearts worshipped within the walls of our home, today. Family time spent.

The weekend was filled with "firsts" - entertaining little tidbits.

FIRST time my son James thought he should do the dishes, and clean the house without being asked.
FIRST time the only chick in the Magnuson house (being me) won the family Texas Hold 'Em Touranment.
FIRST time I've had the chance this year to take the boys to Powder Ridge to see their fancy snowboarding skills.
FIRST time watching my adorable little nephew blow kisses & burst out of the gates crawling like a speed demon.
FIRST time riding with Nic in his car. We pulled our old Volvo out of the back 10.
FIRST time Nic was required to drive a manual 5 speed, THAT was entertaining for his dad.
FIRST time allowing Nic the freedom to drive to a friends house alone at NIGHT! This was a big step for his protective mama...I think at this point Nic dislikes the fact that HE is a FIRST.
FIRST time being my brothers partner playing cards. We lost - so that was probably a LAST.
OH WELL!
Happy Sunday, Enjoy your day!
