TONS going on here at Unity as we start to reach the final hours of getting ready for CHA.
Crazy how this event sneaks up on me! I am in "MOVE it or LOOSE it" mode. Why is it when you hit that mentality EVERYTHING starts happening OUTSIDE of what you actually need to complete? Already this morning I had a 10 year old with a BIKE BREAK DOWN at the doors of Unity. Of course HE has a schedule to keep, so Mama's Volvo hit the pavement to get him to where he needs to go. I believe he has a round of golf to play this morning, finishing JUST IN TIME for baseball practice, then BACK to the golf course for a tournament and another NINE, then BACK to the High school to pitch a baseball game. The kid is an endless boomerang of energy.....and now bikeless - so I will be running a bit today!

SO...HERE is the STORY behind THESE! Brooke and I took Monday to do odds and ends, in an effort to bring together our CHA Booth and various items for our outfits. To put it short and sweet - by the end of the day we were FRUSTRATED with the lack "Finds". Nothing AND I MEAN NOTHING - fit our vision of PERFECT. THEN OF ALL PLACES K-Mart provided us with relief -

Have a BLAST in Chi-town (actually Rosemont, but who's counting?)...there's a dive of a pizza place around there called Barnaby's...good grub :) Just got written up in the local paper...for the food, not nasty stuff :) Anyway, fav Disney movie is a tie now between Finding Nemo & WALL*E...LUV that cutie pie robot and his droopy eyes!
Favorite Disney movie is Little Mermaid. I was five when it first came out - is it any surprise how thoughts of mermaid princesses captured a little five year old's imagination?

I love all the disney movies, it is so hard to pick one. I guess I would say that my favorite would be between Toy Story and Finding Nemo, my son really enjoyed both of those movies. Well Disney..that's a tough one. I loved Cinderella Story as well as Robots and Cars. Personally i love Disney ones because of the music...I' know most people don't like or dislike a movie because of the music but that's one of the first things I notice...second would be the storyline. Get those two right and I'm pretty much impressed. I also love Disney because all their movies don't use any profanity. Got to be my pet peeve.

Love all things Disney but Lion King tops my list. Great "rubba slippa's" (Hawaiian Style) Can't find things to wear why not design your own Logo T with a little inspiration from your stamp sets? I love the layout!!! I have 3 princesses of my own - so I am inspired!! My favorite disney movie of all time is a pretty close tie between beauty and the beast and the little mermaid. If one had to win, it would probably have to be beauty and the beast. I love the flip flops!!! Very creative and you are right they are perfect!!
My long time favorite Disney flick is Sleeping Beauty but I absolutely love Enchanted so that is quickly taking over first place.

Disney has always been huge in our house, but my son loves Toy Story and Monster Inc, & my daughter loves Cars & The Little Mermaid. If we are going for non-animated, I say the original Parent trap, I loved that as a kid.

My favorite Disney movie ever: Wall E, just saw it for the first time last weekend and I LOVE it so much I can't even begin to gush about it. It must be the scientist in me joining with the greenie that I was raised as, I dunno. It's the best movie ever! I love a ton of other Disney movies too but this one just made my summer! I love those cute little monsters even though my son (4) won't watch it because he doesn't like when they shave the monster - he actually yells "here it comes, turn it off!!!!!" he-he!

I would have say that narrowing it down to one movie would be like only having one favorite stamp or stamp set,lol. If I had to choose one that I watch over and over it is probably Brother Bear, but Lilo and Stitch is a close second.

Looks like you guys will have an amazing time at CHA. My favorite has to be Lilo and Stitch. My sister can talk like Stitch and entertains my kids so much by doing that. Also my boys are kind of like stitch in the destructo sorta way. But my all time FEATURE disney film will ALWAYS be the Santa Clause(s) series. Love every one of them.

As far as Disney movies I was thinking Little Mermaid, but then I saw that Nemo is a disney movie, which I did not think it was. My favorite Disney Movie is "The Parent Trap" (the original with Hayley Mills, not the new one.) My dad rented this for me when I was 6 or 7 back in the 80's at our local "Curtis Mathis" and I was in love. To this day I know EVERY WORD and EVERY SONG and mouth them (or even say them aloud) as I watch the movie. Which I now have on DVD! :o)
