I've heard that your idea was all the rage at CHA!!! ConGrAtuLatiONS!!!! And a second round of Congrats for becoming a SCS Member Company!!! SCS will blow the lid off your company!!!

I love Designer Wendy's 'What Happened' card! I'm always looking for that little bit of 'on the edge' stamping style, and she captured it perfectly!!!

Quick question about your system of block/wood handles - do you have to trade out your blocks to accommodate a larger one or do they come in pre-set sizes?

Thanks for everything and I can't wait to see you on SCS come May - my birthday month by the way! So I'm sure it will be very successful!!!

What an ingenious idea!!! I saw from the SCS blog a comment about you! Way to go!!!

Question about your system: If I have a larger stamp, do I have to purchase a larger block/wood handle set or are the wood handles interchangeable with larger blocks?

I loved Designer Wendy's 'What Happened?' card!!!! I may have to CASE it!!! And Designer Heather's Love You card is great!! I love all the colors that she used!!!

And finally - congrats on your SCS Member Company status!!! Your business is sure to get a HUGE boost! That little web site has become the IT place to be for papercrafts!!!

Question about your system: If I have a larger stamp, do I have to purchase a larger block/wood handle set or are the wood handles interchangeable with larger blocks?

We have 4 handles {a} {b} {c} {d}. Yes, if you have one of large stamps it will be most comfortable for you as a crafter to buy our handle {d}. It will accomodate all of Unity Stamps LARGE background stamps. Once you own our handle you will be able to buy "blank" cassettes from our website and re-mount your current large stamps to our blank cassettes. The beautiful thing is that our cassettes will not even cost 1/4 of the amount a maple block would! Re-mounting is quick an easy and extremely inexpensive! All you need is a microwave and a moment! If you need more clarification please email me or even give me a call!

I am really impressed from what I saw of your new system. I have a few acrylic blocks and stamps but am not totally thrilled with them as I do like the feel of wood mounts.

I really like that mounting system. It would solve my problem of keeping the stamp straight! :)

I love that your blocks have a better grip - most acrylic blocks are hard to hang on to.

When I saw your blocks, I thought what a creative idea this is. They look so much easy to work with, I just wish that we could just add this to all the blocks we already own. tee hee Thanks for a chance.

I am lucky 14 I just know it or want it to be. I have watched the video a couple of times now. The first time it didn't sink in how the mounting worked so I decided to watch it with fresh eyes. The mounting system is Awesome! Your wooden stamps will take up a lot less space then tradional mounted stamps and being able to get a good firm grip to stamp a clear image is an added plus.
Thanks for chance to win DoDads set nice sample cards on designer blogs!
I have been faithfully checking out your blog, can't wait to get my hands on some to try.

I saw the video and think I would really enjoy the grips on your mounting system. I started stamping as a wood mounted girl, and I still have a difficult time with acrylics.

Congrats on your upcoming release and a big WTG on becoming a member company over on SCS!

JazzyH said...

I think they will be a great system. I already have acrylic blocks but they are not very comfortable so I think your blocks will solve the problem and I like that they can be a regular acrylic block and then you use them with your stamps. I can't wait until the stamps and the block..

Deborah Mahnken said...

I love these doodad stamps - very cute! I can't wait to try out your mounting block system - it seems very easy to use - and I like that the back is clear so you can see the image on the top of the stamp for placement.

Scrapbook Mama Asked: I saw the stamps can be put away together because that link chain,my question is can they come off that link chain or is that just a way to store them?

The chain is for packing purposes only. They can all be removed and stored whichever way works best for you!

How do you store your stamp sets in your work space?

You will have so many options on storage. You will be able to put nearly 30 large stamps in one shoe box sized rubbermaid bin! They also come with a little metal tab on the top - it can be removed or it can stay. If it stays, you can HANG all your stamps on a hook in your crafting area. FUN STUFF!

I think your new mounting system is fabulous! What a great idea, I can't wait to try it. And someone will be very lucky to win the stamp set this week, thanks for your generosity!

What an awesome mounting system. I love how it works and how much space it saves you. I would LOVE to win some of your fabulous stamps.

I think I would have to actually use your mounting system before I made an opinion. I do love WM stamps and use UM stamps to save space, so maybe your system is the best of both worlds.

Your system looks interesting. I had pretty much given up on wood mounted stamps because they take up so much room. I have a rather large collection of stamps (mounted and unmounted)and wonder how your stamps stamp. I like the way wood and rubber make impressions. I think rubber makes a better impression than clear, but I go with clear because of storage. I would love to win this set to see for myself how your systm works. Thanks for the chance to win.

My question is what about storage, are they going to take up more room than clear stamps?

I am curious about the system and would like to try them before I purchase.

I have to admit that it looks very interesting.

MANDEE said...

I love your new mounting system. I think what I like most is the way they look! I was thinking that when (not if, WHEN) I get them I will have them out on my craft table all the time. With regular acrylic blocks, I tend to loose them in the mish mash of my area. They are clear and sometimes I can't see them among the piles of "creativity"! Also, I love the idea that I can use all my acrylic stamps (no matter what company they come from!). But I am wondering how thick are. Sometimes my acrylic blocks with the stamp on them are too thin, and when I push them down to stamp, I don't have enough give and it's easy for the stamp to slip out of my hands and mess up the image. So, how thick are the handles with the stamps on them? OK, that was a REALLY long comment!

llp said...

I like the way your mounting system looks and works on the video. I really like the feature of clear acrylic stamps that accurate placement is so much easier. I like wood block stamps also and I love looking at them displayed on my shelves. I've never had trouble, like some have mentioned, with control when using the acrylic blocks. But I do think that your design will make them even easier to use.

Are you changing the mounting system? I see the blurb on the right side of the blog page.

"Coming Soon! The Unity Stamp Co. Showcasing our brand new mounting system as well as 1000 NEW images."

Or is this just for people who haven't seen your system yet?

BTW - I love your Quote of the Day! Very inspirational ad instructional.

I LOVE the idea of having a wood 'feel' on an acrylic!! I guess that is part of why I love wood mounted stamps more - they are easier for me to stamp with! After lots of practice acrylics are ok, but I love your innovative way of incorporating the best of both worlds!

Watched the video and what a cool creation! Storing wood mounted stamps take up so much space on the shelf and then when you are using the sets-you have them spread out everywhere.

I think this process would be an excellent way to pack stamps from different sets on one chain for travel, stamp camp, etc.

Can't wait til May 1 and it's GREAT to see that you will be a member partner on SCS....

Thank- love your site.

I love a lot of your stamps! I personally like unmounted stamps (either clear acrylic or ez mounted rubber) because I store them in cd cases and I wouldn't be able to do that if they were on the thin wood. I would still want sets from you whether it was an option or not because some of them are just fab!!! Thanks! And I would definately put a review and samples on my blog after using them! :)
